Perfect for yourself, friends, and family, or an excellent gift. Under my guidance, you will learn how to throw some simple items using a pottery wheel.
Once your final pieces are made, they will be trimmed (refined) by me when they are dry enough.
At the workshop, you will choose from a selection of studio glazes and I will glaze finished items for you or, alternatively, you can book onto an add-on session (+£15) to have a go at glazing.
A unique experience. No previous art or ceramics experience necessary.
All materials provided.
Class size: A maximum of 5 participants.
Location: Unit 240C, Wellington Yard, Picton Road, Liverpool L15 4LP.
Other info:
- Ceramics can be surprisingly physical. You will need a reasonable amount of dexterity in your hands, as well as good grip strength. If you have any questions or uncertainties about this, please get in touch before booking.
- Workshops are for ages 16+, although I'm working on options for the young creatives!
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. - The studio can be cold in cooler weather. There are heaters but please dress accordingly.
- Once glazed and fired, items will be available to collect from the workshop location. This usually takes 4-6 weeks but await an email from me with further information.
Finished items will be kept for 14 days and disposed of if not collected. This is due to having limited space within the studio, with my own and students' work moving through at all times. - Postage can be arranged for an additional cost.
- Once a workshop has been purchased, I will email you prior to the session with additional information.
- A cancellation period applies. Cancellations or requests to reschedule within a 48-hour period before the workshop start time are non-refundable and unfortunately cannot be accommodated.
