AVAILABLE FROM OCTOBER 2025

For anyone wishing to progress with their pottery, only once you have attended our 6-week Introduction to Pottery course, a 1-1 throwing workshop, or a minimum of 2 of our other courses, you are invited to book additional Studio Access sessions to extend your practice.*

Sessions are £30 for 2.5 hours of access, to be booked in 2.5 hour session at one time and cannot be split into shorter sessions.

Enjoy time to create your own project work using pottery wheels, hand-building space and tools, glazing, and lots more. Practice makes perfect!

There will be no formal session plans or teaching offered at these sessions but I will be on hand studio to offer guidance and advice. This is a membership option, without the contract or minimum sign up time.

You can attend any amount of these sessions as you want to.

All tools, studio glazes, and kiln firings included. Stoneware clay up to 4kg per session included (roughly enough to make 8 good size mugs, to give an idea of amount), and additional bags of clay available to purchase at supplier price.

The studio is accessible every day but may not be available when workshops or events are in progress. Once you have purchased a session, please contact me to book, providing your preferred days and times or, alternatively, get in touch to discuss options.

Class size: A maximum of 6 participants.

We are currently limited to 5 pottery wheels but plenty of space for hand-building or decorating, which I would encourage anyone who is interested in pottery to practice with different techniques to gain experience.

Location: Unit 240C, Wellington Yard, Picton Road, Liverpool L15 4LP.

Other info:

  • Ceramics can be surprisingly physical. You will need a reasonable amount of dexterity in your hands, as well as good grip strength. If you have any questions or uncertainties about this, please get in touch before booking.
  • Studio access is for ages 18+.
  • Under studio access sessions, if you do not book to attend a session for 28 calendar days, items will be disposed of (at any stage of the make). This is due to having limited space within a working studio, with my own and other attendees' work moving through.
  • The studio can be cold in winter. There are heaters but please dress accordingly.
  • A cancellation period applies. Cancellations or requests to reschedule within a 24 hour period before the session start time are non-refundable and unfortunately cannot be accommodated

*If you are an intermediate or advanced potter, or have taken beginner lessons elsewhere, you are welcome to access the studio but please contact me before booking. A studio induction is required, and assessment of level might be needed to ensure you are confident using materials, tools, and equipment.
